North Bay Curling offers a range of youth curling programs targeting beginner to advanced skill levels. The sport of curling offers many benefits both physically and mentally that not only are transferrable to other sports but also provide a foundation of skills that will inspire participants to remain active for life.

LEARN TO CURL

Our Learn to Curl program is a great way to get acquainted with the sport of curling. This 7-week program focuses on the fundamentals of curling, learning a different skill each week. With completion of this program, you will then be ready for league play! Equipment is provided! Curlers under the age of 10 are required to wear CSA approved head wear.

6 to 17 years old

Participants will be divided into groups based on age and skill level.

tuesdays 4pm-5pm

3 separate intakes per season.

2024/2025 SEASON

October 15th, December 3rd and February 4th

U9, U12 & U18 PROGRAM

The U9, U12 and U18 programs are for youth looking to join a fun and inclusive curling environment. Participants will engage in weekly skills and league play to advance their curling abilities. The U9, U12 & U18 programs includes 1 weekly skill session Wednesdays 4:30-5:30pm. The U12 & U18 will have 1 weekly league day Sundays 2:00-4:00pm.

 

Program participants are encouraged to have a prior understanding of curling. Graduates of the Learn To Curl program are able to join this program upon completion.

HIGH SCHOOL LEAGUE

Our school league reaches all high schools across North Bay, we aim to have representation from each school.

HIGH SCHOOL AGED YOUTH

Open to all High School & Junior High aged youth.

NCCP qualified instructors and school teachers available on ice for league & practice ice times.
